Recently, Tipps Elementary School teacher Ann Desart was surprised by the “A Day Made Better” representatives courtesy of OfficeMax. The representatives gave Desart classroom resources and supplies valued at over $1000.

Desart’s goodies included a brand new desk chair amongst other supplies. The purpose of the “A Day Made Better” program is to help alleviate the financial burden teachers experience by having to take out money from their own pockets for classroom supplies. Desart said the visit and the generosity of the program really took her aback. “I was absolutely speechless. It was a great honor to receive all of those fabulous materials from OfficeMax,” she said .

“Those materials will be a tremendous help to me in my classroom and help me to be better organized. OfficeMax provided excellent teacher and student supplies that will help my students to stay engaged in their activities and help them to be successful.”
