All Cypress Creek Lakes residents as well as any out-of-staters considering a move to Texas should feel confident in sending their children to Cy-Fair I.S.D., as the national organization *Achieve* selected Texas as the only state to meet all the American Diploma Project's five key college and career readiness measures.
Texas is one of 35 member states of the America Diploma Project Network, in which *Achieve*, created by the nation's governors and business leaders, helps raise education standards and conducts annual surveys on college and career readiness.
Texas education have to meet the following requirements to be Recognized: - Align high school standards with the expectations of college and careers; - Align high school graduation requirements with college- and career-ready expectations; - Develop college- and career-ready assessment systems; - Develop P-20 longitudinal data systems; and - Develop accountability and reporting systems that promote college and career readiness.
Congratulations to all districts in Texas for helping our great state meet the staunch requirements and modeling a system for other states to follow!
