What a thrilling meet! Not only did the Cypress Ranch swimmers drop their times and swim their best against Jersey Village and Cy-Fair, but they also celebrated their senior swimmers with the first ever Senior Swimmer Night.

Each of the eight Cy-Ranch seniors were recognized by Coach Hutchinson as he said a little something about each one of them. He was beaming with pride as they took their place on the block in front of proud parents, teammates and spectators. In keeping with the school spirit, they wore cowboy hats and were given horseshoes for good luck in their future endeavors. Their teammates signed super-sized cards for them to keep the memories of their years on the Cypress Ranch Swim Team close at heart as they travel away to college.

What a way to kick off the final chapter of these talented senior swimmers!

There’s a local aspect to this exhibit, as well, examining the Texas teams of Galveston, Dallas, and more.  There are also several day and evening talks and discussions about the history, and a full schedule of the events is available, or you can call 281-290-5276 for more information.  The exhibit will be at the Lone Star College Library, located on the LSC-CyFair campus at 9191 Baker Cypress.
