Cypress Creek Lakes residents have a new place to meet inside their community.

A new meeting facility is now open, offering residents a multipurpose space that can accommodate large and small groups from community meetings to birthday parties.

The 1,993 square foot building has a covered porch and sits adjacent to the recreation center in Phase II of the community, on Cypress Creek Bend Lane. A lake surrounds this entire community complex, and the new building has views of the playground and pool areas as well as of the lake.

Seventeen additional parking spaces with lighting; additional trees, shrubs and groundcover with irrigation; and benches, picnic tables and bike racks have been added to accommodate the new facility. The building is designed to handle about 75 people for parties and up to 150 in a meeting configuration. The facility includes restrooms for men and women; a kitchen with serving counter that can be closed off from the meeting area, and a storage area for tables and chairs.

Residents can contact Crest Management to reserve the facility. The daily rental fee is $150.
