North Cypress Medical Center supports The Pink Ribbon Parade

Celebrating in general is a fun thing to do, especially if it is a parade. Costumes, music, candy, and fantastical floats. The North Cypress Medical Center proudly supports this years inaugural Pink Ribbon Parade. This parade is showcased over sized sculptures of pink ribbons that had been on an tour across Texas aptly named “Tour De Pink”.

This public art event was created to raise awareness of breast cancer. Each sculpture is between 6 to 8 feet tall, painted by an artist and sponsored by a corporation, organization, or private individual. The sale of the sculptures go directly to the Breast Health of Texas and a breast cancer organization of the buyers choice.

North Cypress Medical Center’s sculpture was painted by renowned local artist, Hanh Tran, whose work has a unique three dimensional quality, yet is approachable and touching. The sculpture will be on permanent display at the North Cypress Medical Center campus following the end of the parade.
