Miss Cy-Fair Houston Title Awarded to Cypress Ranch Sophomore

The Miss Cy-Fair Houston 2011 Second Annual Pageant was held on April 2, 2011 at the Lone Star College’s Cy-Fair Campus Theater. Mary Kate Baker, 16, was crowned Miss Cy-Fair Houston at the event.
Mary Kate Baker is a sophomore at Cypress Ranch High School. She will now represent the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce at many activities and local events.
Brooklyn Mattingly, a senior at Cypress Falls High School, won the crown last year and had the honor of passing the title to Baker.
The Miss Cy-Fair Houston 2011 Competition had an amazing 29 contestants compete. Other crowns won included Junior Princess (ages 12-14), awarded to Serena McKinney, Little Princess (ages 7-11), awarded to Madison Murray, and Sydney Prejean took home the Tiny Princess crown (ages 4-6).
Along with her new title, Baker also won a $1,000 college scholarship and a free modeling and acting workshop valued at $1,000 from the Neal Hamil Modeling Agency.
