Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital has been providing quality care to the Cypress Creek Lakes community and the greater Northwest Houston area since 1983. The hospital is recognized for its outstanding care and services each year, and now the Cy-Fair Medical Center Hospital is finding yet another way to enhance their care and services – with the addition of the new Versant RN Residency Program – the first of its kind offered in the Houston area.

The hospital is investing in their nurses and community to provide the highest standard of care for area residents. Versant (pronounced Ver-sent) will help nurses gain experience and hone their judgment and skills to provide the top notch care the hospital is known for.

The first RN Residents to participate in this program will begin in February 2010. This group of residents will work side by side with a team of senior nurses who will organize and oversee the resident’s daily work. This comprehensive program was designed by nurses for nurses, to provide them with the direct experience they need to confidently and professionally succeed in the hospital environment.

With a goal and commitment to quality care this program strives towards excellence and supports the RN residents not only professionally but emotionally as well. Their experienced team will include nurses acting as preceptors, mentors and debriefors to guide them in every aspect of nursing life.
