Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District is honoring their hard working nurses throughout the month of May, which included May 11th, the day designated as National School Nurse Day by the National Association of School Nurses.

National School Nurse Day was designed in an effort to give better understanding of the role of school nurses in the educational setting and to celebrate school nurses for all they do for their students and faculty.

Eighty five school nurses, five licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) and thirty nine clinical assistants are employed by CFISD.
