Apollo Chamber Players Present "An Expo in France"

The Apollo Chamber Players present “Soundscapes of the World: An Expo in France” on Sunday, January 22, at The Centrum beginning at 6:00 pm.
This musical performance features a program by the leaders of the French Impressionist movement. These will be complimented by a set of folk melodies from around the world.
Featured pieces include Debussy’s ‘String Quartet in G Minor, Ravel’s Duo for Violin and Cello, and the Russian Alexander Borodin’s String Quartet No. 2 in D Major (featuring the soulful Nocturne, popularized in the musical Kismet).
They will also perform original folk pieces from Germany, Russia, France and Spain.
The Apollo Chamber Players consist of Matthew Detrick, Artistic Director and violinist, Timothy Peters on violin, Matthew Dudzik playing cello, and Matthew Carrington on the viola.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $6 for children and students. Discount tickets are available for groups of six or more for $8.
